LifeLyft Privacy Notice

Last updated: 25 September 2026

Who we are

The controller of your personal information is PATHWAY X TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED, trading as LifeLyft.

Registered office: 128 City Road, London, United Kingdom, EC1V 2NX

Company number: 17329825

Privacy contact: Our privacy team — hello@lifelyft.ai

ICO registration number: —

What we collect

  • Account details: your first name, email address and sign-in details (passwords are stored securely by our sign-in provider and we never see them). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google.
  • Your area: the first part of your postcode only (for example SE15), never your full address.
  • Household answers you choose to give: number of adults and children, UK nation, housing and work situation, whether you already receive support, and rough monthly income and essential costs.
  • Money information you enter: income, bills, subscriptions, transactions, budgets, goals, Money Found savings and Monthly Money Check reports.
  • How you use LifeLyft: saved or checked support, Life Events progress, Money Missions, your LifeLyft Score history, notifications and basic activity events (such as "completed a check").
  • Ask LifeLyft: your questions, the answers and any feedback you give. If you use the microphone, the recording is sent to be turned into text and is not stored by us.
  • Plus subscription: your plan, status and renewal dates. Card details are collected and held by Stripe, our payment provider — LifeLyft never sees your full card number.
  • Invites: who invited whom and any free Plus days earned.
  • Technical information: device and browser type and security logs used to keep the service working and safe.
  • Sensitive information

Some answers — such as receiving support, housing or work situation — can reveal sensitive details about your circumstances. Every household question is optional. We only use these answers to show you support and tips that may fit, and we never share them with shops or partners for marketing.

Why we use it and our lawful basis

  • To provide LifeLyft and the features you ask for (contract).
  • To take payments and manage Plus (contract, and legal obligation for tax records).
  • To send service messages such as billing, renewal and security emails (contract / legitimate interests).
  • To keep LifeLyft secure, prevent fraud and invite misuse, and fix problems (legitimate interests).
  • To understand, in aggregate, which features help people so we can improve them (legitimate interests).
  • Where household answers are special category data, we rely on your explicit consent, which you give by choosing to answer. You can remove these answers at any time.
  • Marketing emails are only sent if you opt in, and you can opt out at any time.
  • Automated suggestions

Money Radar and local offers use automated rules and AI to decide what to show you first. These are suggestions only — they never decide whether you receive any benefit, grant or payment, and they have no legal effect on you.

    AI providers

When you use Ask LifeLyft, the purchase helper, offers ranking or voice input, the relevant text or audio — and, for Ask, a summary of your money figures — is sent to AI model providers through our AI service. We send only what is needed to answer, do not send your name or email, and ask providers not to retain requests or use them to train their models where this option is available.

    Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run LifeLyft, under contracts that require them to protect it:

    • Stripe — payments and subscription billing — United States and other countries where Stripe operates (international transfers under Stripe's safeguards)
    • Lovable (Lovable Labs AB, Sweden) — app hosting, database and AI features — EU and United States
    • Slack — internal admin alerts only (no member content) — United States

Where these providers store information was last checked against their own published documentation on 25 September 2026. We review this regularly.

We may also share information with professional advisers, or with regulators and law enforcement where the law requires it.

    International transfers

Some providers may process information outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on the safeguards UK data protection law requires, such as UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement.

    How long we keep it

  • Account and money information: while your account is open. When you delete your account, it is deleted straight away.
  • Ask LifeLyft conversations: until you delete them or your account.
  • Voice recordings: not stored — only the resulting text is kept if you send it.
  • Payment and invoice records: normally six years, as UK tax law requires. These are held by Stripe and in a limited payment log.
  • Account deletion records: a short audit record (a reference number, dates and outcome, no money or household details) so we can prove your request was handled.
  • Security logs: for a limited period needed to keep the service safe.
  • Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the use of your information, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. You can download a copy of your data and delete your account yourself from Privacy & data in your account. For anything else, email hello@lifelyft.ai.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, please contact us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113).

    Security

Your information is encrypted in transit, access is restricted so each member can only see their own data, and our team's access is limited to what they need.

    Changes

We will update this notice if how we use your information changes, and tell you about significant changes.

    Effective date: 25 September 2026
