By creating an account or using LifeLyft, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use LifeLyft.
1. About LifeLyft
LifeLyft is an independent, private household money and support-information service. It helps you understand your household finances, spot possible savings, find support that may be worth checking, set goals and plan next steps.
LifeLyft is not:
2. Who can use LifeLyft
LifeLyft accounts are for people aged 18 or over. You must give accurate information, must not create an account in someone else's name, and must keep your login details safe. You are responsible for activity on your account unless it is caused by our failure to take reasonable security measures.
3. Your personal information
We handle your personal information as described in our Privacy Notice. Please read it before using LifeLyft.
4. Information, not guarantees
LifeLyft gives estimates, calculations and suggestions based on the information you give us and information from public and other sources. We do not guarantee entitlement to any benefit or grant, eligibility, savings, income, the outcome of any application, or the availability of any scheme or offer.
That is why we use words like "you may be eligible", "worth checking", "estimated" and "based on what you told us". Only the relevant government department, council or provider can make an official decision. Please check important information with the official source before relying on it.
5. Ask LifeLyft and other AI features
LifeLyft uses artificial intelligence to explain and summarise information, answer questions, suggest categories for purchases and rank offers. AI can make mistakes and is not a human adviser. Do not rely only on AI answers for important financial, legal, benefits, tax, employment, housing or medical decisions.
6. Not regulated advice
LifeLyft gives general information and educational tools. It does not give personalised regulated financial advice, investment, mortgage or insurance advice, regulated debt advice, tax advice or legal advice. You remain responsible for the decisions you make. For free, impartial help, you can contact MoneyHelper, Citizens Advice or a free debt charity such as StepChange.
7. Links, offers and third parties
LifeLyft links to government services, charities, shops and other websites. We are not responsible for those services; please read their own terms and privacy information.
Local offers are added and checked by our team. If we ever receive a commission or other benefit from an offer, we will say so clearly next to it. Commercial offers never affect whether support appears on your Money Radar.
8. LifeLyft Plus
The core of LifeLyft is free. LifeLyft Plus is an optional paid subscription. The price, billing frequency, any free trial and how to cancel are shown before you pay, and the full details are in our Subscription Terms and Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Plus renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel online at any time from the Plus page in your account — you never need to phone or email us to cancel.
9. Invite a friend
If a new member joins using your invite link, you may both receive free days of Plus as described on the Invite page. Rewards are limited, are only for genuine new accounts, and may be withdrawn if the scheme is misused (for example, creating accounts for yourself).
10. Acceptable use
You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy. Do not enter information about another person unless you are entitled to, and do not upload anything unlawful, abusive or harmful.
11. Availability and changes
We work to keep LifeLyft available and accurate, but we cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may improve, change or withdraw features. If we make a change that materially affects a paid subscription, we will tell you in advance.
12. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from Privacy & data in your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms, and will tell you why unless the law or security reasons prevent it.
13. Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under UK consumer law or our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot be limited by law. We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, or for decisions made by government bodies, councils, providers or other third parties.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. If a change is significant, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect.
15. Law
These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
